It’s about the human mind, about the way we grow enslaved by the particular things that turn us on, and forgive ourselves our trespasses.
It risks being laughed at, and there is a definite, tiny grain of Razzie absurdity that is a part of its weirdly hypnotic high-porn torpor.
I’m not quite sure what David Cronenberg is trying to say in "Crash," but whatever it is, he deserves a lot of credit for having the ner...

This is not "Titan", this is a truly titanic movie. A tasteful, perfectly orchestrated grotesque that is both iconic and underrated. One of the rare erotic thrillers in which every sex scene matters to the plot or the overall idea.

Lots of sex, cars and sex in cars with everyone. There is almost nothing else in the film (one metaphor is stretched out for the entire chronology) – maybe nothing more is needed. At the very least, the scene in the car wash was great, and Deborah Kara Unger is a very beautiful woman.

Will you allow yourself to look beyond the Overton window to enjoy the sight of mutilated flesh and twisted metal, as the heroes of the film do? My answer is yes! 9/10

This is Cronenberg. And Cronenberg’s idee fixe is "self-destructive man." In addition, Cronenberg believes that sex is a very important component of human life (and in this he is completely right). And whoever sees in this only "fucking" – excuse me, will see in Venus de Milo only a naked woman.

This sequential sequence of sex and car crashes completely lacks the key factor that made Cronenberg so beloved: psychologism. Sexual deviations and polyamory make a wonderful fusion for the story, but without the soul engineering, it would be much more at home in 18+ feature films.

A paradoxically asexual, sterilely verified masterpiece about how accidents can cause passion in addition to fear. And with it, thirst – either for death or for love. A masterful work, where everything – from the music to the turn of the head – works to create a special viscous noir atmosphere.

Of course, it’s a completely crazy maniac with a Freudian justification, but I liked the film… Maybe there’s something to be wary of?) Thanks to everyone who supported me in rewatching it, I didn’t regret rewatching it).
