It’s more psychological than a genre movie, and that is the source of both its greatest interest and its biggest problem.

In the 90s, many were interested in the paranormal, including hypnosis. The adventures of an insane maniac hypnotist with amnesia. No preludes. The plot develops immediately and, as if hypnotized, monotonously, step by step leads the viewer to the cherished ending. Asians, as usual, surprise. It was interesting.

I expected a lot more, especially considering the skillfully created atmosphere with the help of appropriate audio and viscous visuals. But the plot is very simple, and at the same time it seems to smack of elitism. A kind of "The Ring", only instead of a cassette there is a hypnotist (even the endings are similar). Idk.
