About the film Vospitanie i vygul sobak i muzhchin
Sonya is a talented veterinarian. Her motto: the more I get to know men, the more I love dogs—so in her personal life she’s closed off, buttoned up to the last button. After a blowup, she’s fired from the clinic. Now she makes ends meet walking dogs and helping out at a shelter for stray animals.Artyom is a charming, spoiled trust-fund slacker and a sports star. He’s recovering from an injury and trying to pass his qualifying tests, but nothing’s working. The fact that he’s being sidelined delights his «perpetual fiancée,» Yulia—she hopes he’ll finally marry her. In a fit of pique, Artyom gives her a puppy so she can at least learn to take care of someone. Yulia takes offense and moves in with her father, and Artyom is left to deal with the dog himself. It’s on one of those walks that he meets Sonya.
