    Production

On January 14, 2019, Cruise initially announced that the seventh and eighth Mission: Impossible films would be shot back-to-back with McQuarrie writing and directing both films for July 23, 2021, and August 5, 2022 releases. However, in February 2021, Deadline Hollywood revealed that Paramount had decided to no longer move forward with that plan.

Wow, I didn’t expect to see something so old-fashioned. The previous part didn’t seem like that. The way it was shot, the plot, the stunts, everything came straight out of the 90s. This won’t surprise me, but it won’t upset me too much if it’s done well, and here it is. Translated to English

I didn’t feel the atmosphere of the previous films; even the problem with the AI doesn’t feel like a threat here. Dividing this burden into two parts was a mistake, it was boring. Even the vigorous action failed to dilute this simple script, but it should be different if you decided to make the story into two films Translated to English

Too MacGaffed, drawn out, unfinished, but still a cool adventure-special agent action movie. I enjoyed every minute, but at the same time I regularly found myself thinking that the previous film was cooler. The antagonist, the music, and the climax were better there. 8.5 out of 10 Translated to English

    Watched

Good old mask fittings and antagonist lines so intricate that you need to be armed with a libretto before watching. Translated to English

And again Tom Cruise and again this endless franchise. It’s nice to see that Mr. Cruise is capable of a lot, but it’s time to calm down and end this series of films. Translated to English

Every time someone started talking, I wanted to turn it off and go on living my boring life. But then the movie caught on and dumped massive portions of good action on me. That’s it. The chase in Rome, the fall of the carriages, and Pom Klementieff are very good. Translated to English

    Watched

The most driving film of the year with a script that doesn’t give you a moment to catch your breath. The perfect sequel to what seems to be the only perfect franchise. Translated to English

    Watched

Apparently, filming 2 cool films in a row is truly an impossible mission Translated to English

    Watched

The script is one laugh. The opening scene is complete nonsense. I’m happy with Cruz as always. The live action carries the entire film. It’s a pity that the operator’s work sagged a little. Translated to English

    Watched

Stunning action and great actors are drowned in a mediocre script (at moments it seems straight out of early 90s action movies) and slightly weaker camera work compared to the previous three parts. But. The long chase through the streets of Rome is a delight. Translated to English

    Watched

Tom Cruise. Hayley Atwell. Vanessa Kirby. Another super-difficult mission, this time dedicated to the global theme of saving humanity in the fight against artificial intelligence. The first part is good, we’ll have to wait for the second. Translated to English

    Watched

The usual good new part of the usual good franchise. It’s good that in our time there are still popcorn movies that sincerely want to entertain the viewer, not accuse him of something, not create scandals, but simply please him with good stunt action and a moderately twisted plot. Translated to English

And the machines rose from the ashes of nuclear fire, and buried 2.5 hours of my life under these ashes. Criminally boring, unjustifiably drawn out and stingy on the main component of the series – action and drive. Translated to English

    Watched

It seems like an interesting topic – artificial intelligence – but they decided to devote 2 hours of the running time to the heroes chasing the key and tricks on how to steal it from each other in an original way. Cruise’s action is still good, but the sixth part remains my favorite in this regard. Translated to English

    Watched

The main problem with this film is that it didn’t have the best release time in theaters. Otherwise, believe me, everything is great and Tom Cruise running is still just as good. Translated to English

    Watched

That everyone is dragging along with McQuarrie’s "Missions" – he’s just repeating Brad Bird’s formula, getting weaker and more boring with each part. In this one there was a retcon and a disregard for the characters’ characters. In general, Hunt died in a collision with a subway train, and everything after that was a dog’s dream. Translated to English

    Watched

The first half of the film looks very fun and literally in one breath. The plot idea is interesting, but slightly confusing. The action is top notch, especially the ending scenes. The seed for a continuation like in Marvel has been made, so we are waiting for the Crusade War in a couple of years! Translated to English

    Watched

The comedic beginning with wet, star-striped dreams about Sevastopol still doesn’t save the craft. In contrast to the previous part, this one is gray and dull. The topic of AI exploded the culture. Among the many scenes with empty conversations, you feel like you are in the center of a Latin American series. Translated to English

    Watched

As the film progressed, I had my own impossible mission, but I completed it – I watched it to the end. Entertainment, drive… where is it all? Sheer melancholy. The entity idea looks ridiculous. She probably had a hand in writing the script. Even the big screen couldn’t save me. Translated to English

    Watched

The final film was divided into two parts. This is the first part in which Ethan Hunt takes on the most difficult mission of his career. In his hands is the life of a person who cares about the fate of the world. It feels like the most delicious things will be in the next feed. But everything is fine here too. Translated to English

    Watched

This time they decided not to bother with the script at all, as well as with the dialogues. The slogan will do just fine, because we have Tom Cruise and cool action scenes, the film almost epically failed at the box office. Translated to English

    Watched

Cruz – but what a great guy he is, once again proving that he is one of the greatest actors of the new Hollywood, and this franchise is his brainchild. Cool action, perfectly balancing with humor and causes a lot of emotions. To a large extent surpassing the previous John Wick in terms of emotional component. Translated to English

    Watched

I always loved this series, even turning a blind eye to many of the disadvantages. The new film was still quite disappointing. The main antagonist is just an AI, with no face, no motive, no interest. The plot is essentially – all governments are bad and only one Tom Cruise wants to kill the AI simply because. Translated to English

    Watched

Ridiculous running around, uninteresting antagonists, funny script. Grace’s character is annoying. But Cruise is great in any case. Looks quite easy, despite the daring timing Translated to English
