Not a bad anime. In my personal top, probably in second place in the Isekai genre after "reincarnation into a slime". It lacked some seriousness to reach the top ten, or something. The motivation and behavior of some characters in places defies any common sense and is far-fetched.

Well, first of all, yes, it is an isekai. But it’s a very unusual idea. I really enjoyed it the first time I watched it. Since this was my first isekai, my opinion may change during the second viewing before the second season.

Amazing representative of isekai-anime! 2/3 of the season steadily held a high bar in the plot and emotional lines. It got a little corny and predictable at the end, but even that didn’t affect the story of love versus all-consuming hatred! I recommend it and look forward to the second season. 8/10
