Every being in the universe knows right from wrong, Mark.

Let me tell you something, Mark. You humans, most of you, subscribe to this policy of an eye for an eye, a life for a life, which is known throughout the universe for its stupidity.

I will admit, the human being is a fascinating species.

You know what your problem is, Mark? You think you’re smarter than you are.

Having rewatched it 20 years later, I understand that the film has not aged well. His idea is timeless, and coupled with a strong script and a fantastic premise, which in fact… after watching, look at his analysis from the review section (above) entitled "PROT is not an ALIEN…" and you will understand everything.

Prot from the planet K-PAX is a very interesting and unusual character. But I didn’t really appreciate the plot (in particular the detective component), which is why the film seemed drawn out.

An entertaining story about an alien (or not?) teaching his psychiatrist human values. The intrigue for me was only brought to the end, but even before that I didn’t want to turn it off: it’s nice to watch the main acting duo and listen to the cool dialogues. 7.5/10

This film has a deeper meaning than it might seem at first. Someone with extraterrestrial intelligence arrives on the planet, looking like a man and looking like a demiurge in the world of ever-scurrying ants. I recommend it for acquaintance, I really liked the main message. There is a good beginning

The film justifies its cult status at least for the amazing duet of Spacey and Bridges.

fun fact: the film mentions Albuquerque and partly takes place in New Mexico, and Aaron Paul (Pinkman) appears at the end
