Things at work aren’t going too well for either Meirzhan or Dana. Their friends, by contrast, have it made: their lives are all trips abroad and endless parties. Dana’s girlfriends tease her because they never go anywhere. Dana begs her husband to take her and the kids somewhere, but Meirzhan doesn’t have the means. One day it occurs to him to borrow a company minivan and drive the family to Aktau, to the sea. On the way, the family runs into one dangerous adventure after another.
