Deadstream is smart, sophisticated comedy horror that finds new ways and new media for resurrecting old ghost stories.
It's hard not to begrudgingly admire a film as committed to its deliriously silly bit as Deadstream.
WritersDirectors Vanessa Winter and Joseph Winter eschew expectations and instead deliver a delightfully raucous splatstick horror-comedy that...
This comic horror romp has no pretensions and seeks only to goof around and dole out a few jump scares, but in its own sly way it offers a Gen...

A fun comedy-horror ride both driven and limited by the noxious onscreen character of its co-director/writer/producer/editor.
The film doesn’t quite live up to its promising premise and handful of clever camera gimmicks.
Briskly paced, wildly fun, and surprisingly smart, Deadstream is a bloody terrific good time.
Deadstream is outrageous, delightful and deeply satisfying, a breath of fresh air in a genre that can far too often feel old and musty.

Oh, great, great! "The Blair Witch Project" for the generation of streaming and posting. And the name itself, Deadstream, as it were, hints at what approach the creators have chosen for the genre. First funny, then creepy. Then funny and creepy at the same time. Just like my graduation. Translated to English

I must say right away that this is not really a horror movie, it’s more of a comedy made under a horror movie. Sometimes there is such trash that it is simply not possible to contain laughter. The movie is like a parody. The main character is charismatic and very funny. An interesting moment, everything was filmed as a live broadcast. Translated to English

Cheerful mockumentary about a streamer who decided to spend the night in a haunted house. This horror comedy at some point turns into the second part of the Evil Dead with its madness and gore, managing to scare and laugh – a rare combination. Of the minuses – budget. Translated to English

An unusual film, where there is no view "from the outside" and half of the usual clichés for horror films. The story is not new, but the form through which it is conveyed is impressive. Meanwhile, topics relevant to our time are also touched upon here, as well as a statement of the death of the individual. Translated to English

From a comedy, 1 funny moment and a few smiling ones. This is not a black comedy, but a lively and resourcefully filmed horror with comedic elements. Well, Winter dragged the film, he played well almost alone, and in general he was inventive. Puppet monsters – offset. Translated to English

An unusual combination of different types of horror films gave something new. First of all, I remembered the Spree I watched not so long ago – there, too, everything happens during the stream; and, of course, the classic The Living Dead 3: Army of Darkness – the appearance and behavior of monsters. Very good. Translated to English
