Book Behind the Film "Spiderhead"
About the Book
The film "Spiderhead" is based on a short story titled "Escape from Spiderhead" by George Saunders. This story was originally published in The New Yorker in 2010 and later included in Saunders' collection of short stories, Tenth of December, released in 2013.About the Author
George Saunders is an acclaimed American writer known for his unique style that blends elements of satire, science fiction, and humanism. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Man Booker Prize for his novel Lincoln in the Bardo.Adaptation and Correspondence to the Book
The film adaptation of "Escape from Spiderhead" takes creative liberties with the source material, expanding on the original short story to fit the format of a feature-length film. While the core themes and premise of the story are retained, the film introduces new characters and plot elements to enhance the narrative and provide a more comprehensive cinematic experience.Related Titles There are no related titles yet, but you can add them:

Complete nonsense. From the very first minutes you understand that something is not right here. This is not a prison, but a vacation camp of some kind. Yes, and women along with men. Was it directed by Kosinski? Apparently, he saved on the screenwriter.

A completely toothless fantasy with elements of a thriller and comedy at the end. It seems to be an entertaining plot about a kind of biohacking, but there are few characters, and instead of empathy, you wonder what kind of absurdity was created in the depths of Netflix. Kosinski appreciated all five films.

There are worse films out there, but this one is a terrible waste of potential. There were good actors, location, music. But it won’t help anything if the plot is complete crap.

The film was pleasantly surprised by the originality of the plot. This is a chamber hodgepodge of thriller, comedy, drama and fantasy. I would describe it as a supervillain (not to be confused with a superhero) movie, without the Hollywood scope.

Netflix wouldn’t be Netflix if there weren’t 20 slag movies for one good movie and Spiderhead is one of the worst. The only good thing is the soundtrack. Everything else is bad here, negative emotions after watching it are like after some kind of stimulant …

An interesting idea was wrapped up in an uninteresting script and weak directing. Too bad there was potential. What really pleased me was the performance of the main actors. Well done! For this film "6"

This feces decided to hide behind a kind of interesting (no) concept, but there was no chance. Just darkness.

What a dumb movie! And the saddest thing is that he deceives the viewer, at first mows down to a stylish chamber fiction, such as "Maniac" 2018. Only high school students can believe in conflicts inside. The final match, the hand did not leave my face for the last 20 minutes of the film.
