Initially, Nolan wrote an 80-page treatment about dream-stealers. Originally, Nolan had envisioned Inception as a horror film, but eventually wrote it as a heist film even though he found that "traditionally [they] are very deliberately superficial in emotional terms." Upon revisiting his script, he decided that basing it in that genre did not work because the story "relies so heavily on the idea of the interior state, the idea of dream and memory. I realized I needed to raise the emotional stakes."

A film with a clear social background, shrouded in interesting directorial decisions. For me one of the best films of our time Translated to English

This time Nolan jumped in over his head. One of the few that deserves a rating of 9.5/10. There’s no point in explaining anything, just watch Translated to English

I completely forgot to mention. One of my favorite films about dreams :) Translated to English

Wow, why didn’t I watch it earlier? This is a masterpiece. Nolan simply amazes with his work on the film and the script. And the soundtrack? My ears enjoyed it. Everything is on top and even higher. Translated to English

Well, I had to come up with something like this! And then it’s still beautiful to film, and with such actors! Bravo! Translated to English

Recently, it has become common to hate "The Matrix" for its supposedly secondary plot and numerous borrowings. "Inception" is in no way inferior to it in this regard; there are more than enough references and repetitions in this film. Translated to English
Watched
First, watch with headphones! Secondly, within the plot on the theme of fantastic technologies, right from the very first seconds, the emphasis moves to completely everyday aspects of the relationship between Men and Women. Third, social ideas that are relevant in our time: propaganda and monopoly power. Translated to English
This is simply amazing. Great music, great script, the cast is a dream team. Each time you look again, new details are found. The film is not outdated and gives a head start to most modern films even after 10 years. Translated to English

Everything about this film is great except for the stupid Russian title. A must watch! DiCaprio is great! Translated to English

A typical blockbuster in the Nolan style (which cannot be confused with anyone): boring, drawn-out, with a plot that is not fully revealed, in which the first half of the film is better than the second half and the final part, and it’s not even about the open ending. Translated to English
Watched
The film is a bomb, you won’t immediately understand what’s happening on the screen, those who haven’t watched it, I advise you to watch it, you will be delighted with this masterpiece! Translated to English

Mind-bending story that leaves you puzzled even after the movie ends – and, of course, supreme visuals and decent action.

Beautiful, strong, very interesting. The plot does not sag and keeps you in suspense until the very end. I recommend. Translated to English
what we can approve of the quarantine and the suspension of many new releases is the fact that old and legendary films can be watched, re-watched and really enjoyed watching. Knowing, moreover, that this is an excellent movie, and you are already fully armed, so to speak, prepared. Translated to English

The most mind-blowing film from Nolan. The plot about how dreams are a very important part of life and that a lot depends on our subconscious is truly brilliant and makes you think. The visuals and action are simply amazing. The cast is stellar, as always with this director. Translated to English

"The Beginning" catches you with its idea. The idea that a dream is something more. You can penetrate there, collect valuable information, and generate thoughts. Excellent casting, impressive production. Not without cliches in the form of weak drama and tedious action scenes. But the aftertaste is magnificent. Translated to English

Is it just me or is this a heist movie? Now we see what it means to literally get caught up in the levels of meta irony. Translated to English

Spectacular, cheerful, interesting, but there is nothing in the film that makes me want to watch it again. The drama here, in my opinion, is weak, but it’s okay for a blockbuster. I liked the final scene, even though I’m not a fan of open endings. Translated to English

Nolan’s multi-layered mind-bender that only gets better with each rewatch. Translated to English

The main advantage of the film is its main idea, which pierced me so much that I cannot give a lower rating. What also really helps you fall in love with the movie is the powerful soundtrack, the multi-level narrative, the bombastic cast, and the family theme beautifully woven into the mix. Translated to English

Christopher Nolan. Leonardo DiCaprio. No wonder the film collected so many awards. Not a hackneyed story. Excellent camera work, acting, special effects at the highest level. It can and should be reviewed. Translated to English

"Inception" is the best heist film since the creation of cinema to the present day. It perfectly shows that only a team can achieve success. I will not go into the ideas of the meaning of the film, because there are countless of them, just like the levels of dreams. I liked the concept of an open ending Translated to English

An excellent movie in which Nolan managed to create a competent exposition and clearly explain the laws of his cinema, and immerse him in the narrative not only with incredible visuals, but also with the history of the characters. An exemplary thriller, the best film of 2010. Translated to English
