The Book
"Crooked House" is a classic mystery novel by Agatha Christie, first published in 1949. The story is set in a sprawling, eccentric mansion inhabited by the Leonides family. The plot revolves around the murder of the wealthy patriarch, Aristide Leonides, and the subsequent investigation to uncover the killer among the family members.
The novel is notable for its unique structure and the absence of Christie's famous detectives, Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple. Instead, the story is narrated by Charles Hayward, a young man engaged to Sophia Leonides, one of Aristide's granddaughters. As Charles delves deeper into the family's secrets, he uncovers a web of deceit, jealousy, and hidden motives.

The most ridiculous detective story with the most uncharismatic and mediocre detective who has no effect on the story. The script is a sieve of trimmed plots and unnecessary love lines. Soulless editing with zero meaning (and unnecessary frames), and music placed out of place are guaranteed
Poor Agatha has been filmed and filmed since the days of silent films, but they still don’t film it in any way. The canons: expensive, rich and star actors are respected, and this is a plus. Minus: amateur performance with the plot, accents in characters and events, revealing the identity of the criminal.
Closed book. A good picture and nice actors are a plus. But the understatement in the storylines is a big minus. Not enough disclosure. You can identify the villain (I succeeded towards the middle). The denouement may be unexpected, but it looks painfully crumpled. It could have been better.
