One of my favorite childhood films, recorded by me and my dad on cassette and watched many times. I still love this romantic and at the same time tragic picture. The visuals are dated but look nice. Demi Moore plays grief perfectly. Final
What a beautiful and touching love story! Although the genre is naive, everything is presented in a magically convincing, rich and funny way (Whoopi is good).
I didn’t appreciate Jerry Zucker’s picture; perhaps in those days the clichés and hackneyed plot were not very striking, but in 2020, even though it was a classic, it looked good and without any emotions. I would definitely watch a sequel or a remake with new technologies, but not all this…

Maximum score on the romance scale. Beautiful Swayze and Demi Murie, brilliant Whoopi Goldberg. Sensual, easy. The atmosphere of the 90s, in some places it seems that the events of the movie "Home Alone" are taking place on a parallel street.

Decent melodrama! Not filled with such toxic cutesy relationships. "Subtle" romance with elements of classic American action films… love, murder, showdowns… but not too much! The whole theme is both funny and reverent…Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze are at their best!!!
The most "star-studded" film about love that is stronger than death, without a drop of pathos. The 90s are a golden time for world cinema, where the presence of top actors does not deprive the film of the tenderness and warmth that you feel through the monitor screen. Demi Moore’s best role, definitely.
Even in 2023, you can watch it again with great pleasure and be amazed at how well and efficiently the film was made for 1990. The love story is very heartwarming. But there is both mysticism and a thriller mixed in here – the plot is wonderful. Plus great humor and acting!

The film has an interesting plot, it is at the same time a thriller, in which there is a dynamically developing plot and fantasy and melodrama, by the way, the latter occupies a very important part in the plot.
The film is timeless. The emotions, experiences, feelings, problems shown in it are understandable and close to any generation. A brilliant example of a mixture of touching drama and comedic moments.
