These are the films about strong and independent women I am ready to watch! Retro vibes, charming heroines, recognizable supporting actors, homage to silent films, satire and absurdity – Ozon has found a balanced formula to make films on the topic of the day, but not be a cheap propagandist
Ozone does what he is strong at: in the most light, vaudeville form, he tells a serious story – about how the emancipation of women becomes a tool for achieving benefits not only in their hands, but also in the hands of the smartest of men. + Brilliant work of actors of the old guard.
