Well, let’s evaluate what we did with part 10. I don’t have high hopes. I’m just waiting for it to be better than Spiral and the 8th film.

The film is drawn out, the acting is so-so and the plot AGAIN buries itself in the affairs of bygone days, but at least this is better than the terrible reboots. Again there are absurdly cruel traps, again Jigsaw even blurts out about the choice, and when Billy rode into the frame on a bicycle, I almost shed a tear from emotion.

Perhaps my rating is too high, but it really is several heads above the films Saw 8 ‍ and Saw: Spiral ‍. Everything is very simple, but closer to the movie Saw: Game of Survival or Saw 2 .

The first film was very good. All the others, including this one, are just 50 shades of blood red. There is no one to sympathize with, the ending is predictable, the partner is useless, and the attempt to humanize Kramer is simply idiotic. And there were so many cries about a fresh approach, my goodness.

Perhaps it’s just me, I’ve become old and nothing surprises me anymore. But this is just an empty bloodthirsty mess. I didn’t see any interesting tests, either from a technical or moral point of view. The perspective from the eyes of a killer makes it impossible to even care about anyone in the slightest.

I did not get anything. It’s clear that the writers tried hard here. The question is that these are the same people who made Spiral and Part 8. Do they have a split personality? Regarding the film, even if it is a throwback to nowhere in terms of plot, it is made head and shoulders above the last terrible parts.

Fresh air in the franchise. This is not only a beautiful, bloody and exciting horror film, but a unique, revenge story based on clear logic.

The secondary nature of what is happening is tertiary. The predictability is so great that you feel like his sketch storyboard artist. It is able to partially satisfy nostalgia, but it is hardly surprising, since this is a very lazy work from the script, which in no way enriches the lore of the franchise.

Remembering my oncologists, I perfectly understand Kramer’s actions. But that doesn’t make the film any better.

It’s unrealistic to go out for the 10th time with the same emotions as the 1st film. It makes no sense to kick the franchise in terms of logic even from the 3rd part. If you remember this, then «Saw 10» ​​will seem definitely better than the 8th and, sorry Kramer, reboot. It’s just that it was filmed…without sparkle, with routine formalism. Alas(

Boring and uninventive. I think I only watched the first 3-4 films and I don’t remember Kramer being some kind of folk avenger who needs to be empathized with, especially against the backdrop of cancer. The viewer himself can get a cancerous tumor from such low-quality films.

Quite sane Saw, in contrast to the previous 5 extremely crappy ones. Finally, they remembered the long-abandoned concept, a fair selection of players and at least some kind of meaningfulness and hope appeared. The plot is very simple, but perhaps that’s what’s good about it. There is a post-credits scene.

Either I have moved away from interest in such horror films, or this, in my eyes, is a failed attempt to restore the former glory of this film series. That’s why the rating is 6 out of 10.

The return of John Kramer warms the soul of a true fan of the franchise. In this part, the details of the plot are well worked out, and in general there is a lot of time spent here, not only on the bloody puzzles, which are truly inventive, but also on the ordinary life and ordinary actions of the heroes. 9.3
