The Bikeriders

A slow drama with little action. Don’t expect incredible action here, this is just a true story about ordinary men whose love for bikes turned into something more. A very slow and at times simply boring film.

I love the theme with bikers, that’s why I appreciated the film. Tom Hardy is great as always. Austin Butler looks great too. Norman Reedus looks very cool in an unusual way..

I’m starting to watch a film that I’ve been interested in for a long time with a good cast of actors. The main reason to watch is Tom Hardy . And only then we can highlight the young stars – Austin Butler ‍ and Jodie Comer ‍.

I read the possible Oscar nominees for 2024 and decided to slowly watch them.

"You know, you can devote all of yourself to something, you can give everything you have, and in the end everything will go its way." biker story with dramatic plot development. I really liked Butler and Hardy, almost the entire film rests on them.

If in films about the mafia everyone was transferred to bikes… Testosterone, speed, adrenaline in the blood, brotherhood in spirit – and reality, which smashes all the best in the biker community into its corners. One of the best casts I’ve seen lately.

To be honest, judging by the actors, I expected more from the film, but what it is, it’s watchable.

At the moment, Nichols’s weakest and worst film. Based on a documentary book consisting of a series of interviews. There is no coherent story – the film is torn into meaningless pieces (interviews, fights, drinking, empty chatter, crime). The dialogue is a disaster, the directing is sloppy. It is excruciatingly boring to watch.

The film is like a photo album of the biker era of the 60s that has come to life. Everyone in the frame looks very colorful, the details and the general background of the film are tart and weighty. But, unfortunately, the film has nothing to boast about in terms of the script.

The general atmosphere and aesthetics of wolf quotes at some point begin to amuse. Several scenes of riding are even impressive, and most of the actors here are very organic. The main character is very bad. There is no need to watch this seriously. Spinning it on repeat in a themed bar is the best.

"Easy Rider" was a breakthrough and showed what cinema could be. And now "Bikers" looks like some kind of time traveler. But I liked it, because such cinema will become less and less over the years, because the film may not even attract a mass audience.

Some kind of film is empty, not to mention the fact that I don’t like this technique when the narration is told from the character being interviewed.

A story with too much romance and too little conflict. I wanted more dirt, brutality and massacres, but instead I had to look at snotty female love suffering. Not exactly what I wanted from a movie about bikers.

It would be better if they made a movie based on Hunter Thompson’s Hell’s Angels than this) For Hardy +1 to the rating, perhaps it would have been better if there had been a normal actor instead of Butler, but I doubt it, the whole film is saturated with tedium)

A superficial story about bikers that didn’t really show anything. There is no development of the club from outsailers to organized crime as such, no drama, no motorcycle romance. The whole film is carried by the actors' charisma.

In general, it reminded me of the series “ Daisy Jones and The Six ”, not only in structure and plot, but also in the picture – it’s very atmospheric and colorful.

Great movie, but not everyone will get into it. Personally, I felt that vibe. Also, it is undeniable that Tom Hardy played it perfectly, he turned out to be a very charismatic character.

Excellent soundtrack, cool photos of Lion, a garbage film, a point for the picture and soundtrack. Some kind of spit in the face of motorcyclists, a story from the point of view of a cuckoo. An uneven and uneventful film, but with the peculiar dark charm of a leaking Harley. As a biker, I rate it perhaps a little higher than it deserves (as does the Harley, heh). Pedestrians and boxers can safely knock off a point or two.

An absolutely uninteresting movie. A plotless sketch of a short history of a biker club. Monotonous and without spark. In fact, there is nothing here except biker images. Constant chatter and not a single normal dialogue. Well, the picture is not bad and D. Comer is funny.

I don’t really understand what the philosophy of bikers is, according to Nikolos, it seems like riding a motorcycle and fighting until you bleed in any incomprehensible situation. Is this an attempt to debunk the romanticization of the easy rider image? Now we are waiting for similar films about the subculture of emo, goths and furry children with ponytails.

It’s not the first time that Nichols takes an interesting topic, a powerful cast and shoots a dull, run-of-the-mill movie. Slow, dry, predictable, for some reason from the perspective of a housewife, a message a la Hipsters. The cameraman is not for serious movies at all. Hardy is a colossus, he almost pulled out this dullness.
